If so, our Cloud Servers are the way to go! We offer unlimited administration access to your system (RDP/ Shell).

All cloud server hostings are running on a NetApp SSD storage which delivers extremely fast server performance!

Your server is equipped with Windows 2016/2019 by default or a CentOS 7/8 or Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. You are welcome to install your Linux or Unix at your own choice. All of our VM servers are running on a redundant infrastructure in a VMware vSphere environment.

Do you have already one or more virtual server/s? These can easily be relocated to the Simple Hosting datacenter without any change. Physical server can be virtualized 1:1 and subsequently integrated in our virtualized platform.

You will get one or more official IP addresses from us and our firewall-solution protects your server against all kinds of hacker attacks. You define yourself which ports are opened from outside. Further we can protect all your mails coming from or going to the servers through our network virus scanner.

There are several options to manage your cloud server. Either you decide for a web based VC web admin panel where you directly can access your console and start/ stop/ restart or backup it. Or you manage your server via SSH for a Linux server or via RDP for a Windows server. With all three options you have full admin or root access to your server.

Your cloud servers are protected via firewall and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System). Furthermore, 24/7/365 monitoring guarantees fast reaction in case of breakdown. Even in case of system or hardware breakdown all cloud server are protected as our complete platform is built on a redundant infrastructure. Thus the risk is minimized and server operation fulfilled.

We make a complete backup of all customer servers every night. Different versions are kept so that we can restore any file, folder, database or the entire server for up to three months für you.

In addition, the latest server backups are copied to our second location every night. This ensures that your data is protected as well as possible without any extra charge!

Do you prefer to send all your outgoing mails via our redundant SMTP relay system rather than via your own mail server? If so, this is the option to go for. The SMTP relay serves for sending larger mail volumes. It is also suitable for sending newsletters, general mail marketing as well as a smart host for local mail server.

MX filter/ anti-spam (ingoing)

Price: CHF 4.50 per month

We offer a MX filter/ anti-spam service going further than normal spam filtering. You have the possibility to control everything over a control panel. This service is available independently from all webhosting offers. Click for more information.

The number of CPU cores determines your warranted CPU cores. However the whole CPU power of one host is shared with all clients.
2-64 GB memory
The more memory the system has, the more programs it can handle simultaneously. Usually 4 GB RAM are enough for current requirements. If you need more, it can be increased at any time.

Memory capacity offers memory for your operating system as well as for your personal data and programs. If required, the storage capacity can be increased at any time.

Availability and server monitoring
We promise to guarantee an availability of our infrastructure to 99.5%, albeit 99.9% at the moment. The whole server infrastructure is monitored around the clock, 365 days a year. Besides the server hardware is equipped with redundant components to 100 percent and is automatically controlled at minute intervals over two different monitoring systems. With our infrastructure we offer reliability above the average.
Managed backups
We manage all server backup operations. Accordingly we can guarantee the complete server system backup back to two month. Further, regularly restore tests are performed because in case of emergency there is nothing worse than a corrupt backup.

Remote desktop/ SSH
You are the admin on your Windows cloud server. Right after ordering you will receive all logins to login via remote desktop to your system. If desired post-installations of Teamviewer or other programs are possible. For your Linux cloud server you will receive the SSH logins to be able to login as root.
Whole remote console
You have whole remote console access to your cloud server by means of a HTML5 console. This is like being physically at the location. In this way you analyse operating system problems you could not solve without remote console.
